Calvin Covington '01 Carries Over Athletic Success to Banking

Christ School hall of famer now a Bank of America executive

Sports or no sports, Calvin Covington '01 is still winning. There have been few bigger shoo-ins for Christ School's Athletic Hall of Fame. Covington was an all-state defensive back/wide receiver who continued his football career at the University of North Carolina shortly after the turn of the century. Additionally, Covington was a state champion in track for the Greenies and a 1,000-point scorer on the basketball court. Covington's career in the business world is following a similar, successful pattern. He now resides in Charlotte – where the Bank of America Corporate Center is located.
