Though the Greenies started slowly in the first half, they were tied 21-21 at the half. Great defensive play in the second half led the Christ School JV to a 49-42 victory over Wesleyan Christian Academy on the road. Led defensively by Steve Pappas and Tyler Bell the Greenies held a five point lead throughout the 4th quarter. The Greenies were helped offensively by Zach Myers who scored 25 points along with 9 rebounds in the game. From the center position, Jack Knott finished with 10 rebounds and two big free throws in the final two minutes to put the Greenies ahead by seven for good.
The team will play next on Thursday on the road against Oakbrook Prep in South Carolina before coming home for games against Quality Education and Greenville High School on Friday and Saturday.
