Aviation Program Begins Year 3

Exciting times for one of Christ School’s flagship programs.

Boys with the Robert Morgan ’36 Aviation Program began assembling a new simulator Monday – which features three 65-inch monitors – for on-campus training.

A second simulator stays housed at WNC Aviation, the new home base for the program in its third year of existence and owned by a Christ School family (Charles and Amy Thomas P’21).

Christ School is one of only three high schools in the U.S. with an aviation program. WNC Aviation operates out of Asheville Regional Airport, the third-busiest airport in the state and less than five miles from campus. Look for a Christ School advertisement there featuring the Robert Morgan '36 Aviation Program the next time you are arriving or departing!
