Christ School lacrosse had several more players worthy of all-state.
There’s no arguing though that Xander Ring ’25 (defender) and Carter Sherwood ’25 (faceoff specialist) distinguished themselves as much as anyone in the NCISAA at their chosen positions.
Congratulations to these two rising seniors for representing the Carolinas Athletic Association champion Greenies (12-7) on this year’s NCISAA Division I all-state team, which was released Tuesday. It is the second consecutive season of all-state recognition for Carter and the first for Xander.
Xander’s hometown is Tega Cay, S.C., and he has committed to Brown, while Carter is a Loyola University Maryland recruit from Arden.
