Two Greenies in NCAA Lacrosse Tournament

The NCAA tournament for basketball has been affectionately called “The Big Dance” over the years. Lacrosse will never be confused with that.

Only 17 teams made up this year’s brackets and two Christ School alumni are part of that select group – Lehigh junior faceoff specialist Sean Dow ‘21 and Princeton sophomore long-stick midfielder/defender Nick Crowley ‘22.

Sean and Lehigh (10-6) are the Patriot League champions and play John Hopkins in a first-round NCAA game Sunday at noon in Baltimore. Sean made the All-Patriot team for the first time in his college career, having won 57 percent of his faceoffs in the regular season.

Nick and Princeton won the Ivy League tournament and play at Maryland in a first-round NCAA game Saturday at 7:30 p.m.  Nick has appeared in 15 games as a reserve for the Tigers (11-4).
