This Friday kicks off the first ever Mother/Son Weekend, and we have already received a huge response from Greenie mothers - over a hundred have registered for this wonderful weekend diligently planned by fellow Christ School moms.

Friday, February 7, 2014

• 5:00 - 6:00 pm. - Beaver Center - Pick up your Registration Packet and drop off your Silent Auction Item.

• Enjoy dinner on the town with your son

• 10:00 p.m. - All students must be back on campus

Saturday, February 8, 2014

• Saturday Clases for students.

• 8:00 - 10:00 am - Beaver Center - Pick up your Registration Packet and Drop off your Silent Auction Item.  Enjoy coffee, pastries, and social time

Volunteer Opportunities for after Registration: 

• Stuff Valentine Bags for the Boys at Christ School

• Decorate for Saturday nights Valentine's Dance - All Morning

• 8:15 am Patrick Beaver Room - Auction Committee Meeting

• Into the Woods with Stephanie Dunn (Mother of Alex Dunn) - gather stumps and material for Auction Weekend while exploring behind the scenes of Christ School's Campus. Bring work gloves and shoes for the woods.

Afternoon Activities to Enjoy with your Son

• LA-Zoom Comedy Bus -  $20.00 per person 

• • 2:00 or 3:00 bus-  Meet at Lazoom Bus stop - downtown, park in the Aloft hotel parking deck. - see website for directions

• Biltmore House - 3:00 Tour - Admission gives you access to great restaurants too! 

• Navitat Zipline Adventures 

• Bouldering Gym and Climbing

• Walking the Trails at Christ School

• Biltmore Village Art Galleries and Boutiques

• Downtown Shopping

• Downtown Art Galleries

• River Arts District - Galleries and Demonstrations

Dinner plans:

• 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. – Food Truck Rodeo & Dinner in the Dining Hall. Enjoy dinner & live music with your son at Christ School featuring several of Asheville's unique Food Trucks parked outside the Dining Hall! (Cash or Credit Card). The dining hall will be open for seating and serving additional food choices.

• 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Moms’ Cocktail Party & Silent Auction in Hamner Lobby. We will enjoy mingling and bidding on small items that are popular with your sons. The funds generated will go to next year's Mom's Weekend budget.
