The Greenies Varsity Basketball team played their third game in as many days on the road Saturday night in Charlotte against a talented Charlotte Christian team. After playing the night before in South Carolina, the team had a short turn around before heading to Charlotte for their contest. A sluggish first quarter was to be expected, but the remaining three quarter saw Christ School outscore their opponent, 56-40. An incredibly balanced scoring attack pushed the Greenies to 20-11 on the season with Jalen Lecque '19 leading the way with 28 points, 10 assists, followed by double-doubles from Brandon Stone '19 (15 points, 12 rebounds) and Justice Ajogbor '20 (14 points, 12 rebounds). The Greenies won the game 78-65 and will find out their playoff seed in less than a week!
The Greenies will face Legacy Charter at home on Wednesday, Carolina on the road on Friday and Veritas Christian on Saturday at home at 3:00 PM.
