Greenies Go 1-2 at CAA Cross Country Meet

On a beautiful fall Wednesday, Christ School hosted the Carolinas Athletic Association Cross Country Championships. This made the second consecutive year that Christ School has hosted the CAA Championship on a newly-designed course. The Greenies were led by Andrew Hammel '20 and Joseph Visconti '20. These two finished first and second to lead the Greenies to a fourth-place finish against five teams. Also running well for Christ School was Miles Gardner '20, Alex Xu '19, Kilian Mittermeier '21, Jack Cross '22 and Conner Rowe 22. These boys rounded out the top seven.

The Greenies cross country squad will run its final meet of the season at the NCISAA 4-A State Championship meet 10/26 at Jackson Park in Hendersonville, N.C. The boys race starts at 2 p.m. Maximum entries for this meet is seven athletes and the varsity squad will be finalized next week.
