Greenies Track Competes Against South's Best

After a second place finish at the NCISAA State Meet last season, the Christ School Track and Field team has been pushing themselves to get better. "We were so close we could almost taste it," said Kevin Snyder '19. "We want to get back to that position next season, but this year, come out on top."

One of the ways the team hopes to make that improvement is by competing against some of the top competition in the country. Members of the team have already competed in the Kentucky Invitational, VA Showcase, and the New Balance Indoor Nationals. This weekend, the team will head to the Bojangles Invitational in Columbia, SC to compete against some of the best competition in the South.

There are over 2,800 athletes registered from 180 schools and three continents. The Greenies are ready. "We want to compete against the best competition out there. The Bojangles Meet is one of those opportunities," said Keyvaun Cobb '19. "Hopefully, all of this competition and the opportunity to run, jump and throw against the best can push us to the next level."
