Greenies Win Scholastic Art Awards
Christ School sophomore William David '21 is the winner of two Silver Keys in this year's Western North Carolina Regional Scholastic Art Awards.
William was recognized in the Digital Art category with his piece entitled "Living Coral," as well as the photograph "Winter Mist." His portfolio received a third nod from the judges for honorable mention.
Two other Greenies, Daniel Du '22 (Painting) and Ethan Park '23 (Mixed Media), also earned honorable mention for their artwork.
The WNC Regional Scholastic Art Awards will hold a ceremony to honor all winners February 17 at the A-B Tech/Mission Health Conference Center in Asheville. An exhibition featuring the work opened at the same site on Monday.
