JV Lacrosse Defeats Hendersonville 9-8
The JV lacrosse team had a solid 7-1 victory against Hendersonville's varsity lacrosse team on Saturday. The entire team showed class and composure throughout the entire game against an older Hendersonville team. A few missed opportunities held the Greenies scoring efforts to seven goals on the day, but Sam Bassett '22, Tyler Haldeman '19, and Austin Smythe '21 each had a pair of a goals on the day. Nathaniel Carson '20 also went 5/6 on face-offs, which allowed the Greenies to control the ball on the offensive end of the field. Finally, the entire defense played was phenomenally throughout the game giving up just one goal in transition in the middle of the fourth.
JV Lacrosse will head to Greensboro Day on Wednesday, April 11th at 4:30 p.m.
