Randy Ashley and Kevin Snyder Named Coach, Athlete of the Year

Congratulations are in order for Christ School head coach Randy Ashley and Kevin Snyder '19 who were named 3-A Coach of the Year and Athlete of the Year, respectively, by the NCISAA's Track & Field Coaches Association for their work throughout the 2018 season. Coach Ashley was named Coach of the Year after winning the school's first team state track championship since 1990. The Greenies scored 134 points to take down the multiple time defending state champion, Providence Day. Coach Ashley and the Greenies track team finished as state runner-up last year, but were able to take down the rest of the 3-A field with wins from Aydan White '20 (100-meter hurdles), 800-meter relay, 1,600-meter relay, Jalen Lecque '19 (high jump) and wins from Kevin in the long jump and triple jump.

Kevin won the long jump for the third consecutive year and the triple jump for the second year in a row.
