Three Basketball Players Named All-Conference, Lecque '19 CPOY

 

Jalen Lecque '19, Brandon Stone '19, and Justice Ajogbor '20 have been named to the CAA All-Conference Team. The Greenies, who have finished as Conference Champions with a 7-1 record, have won the conference four years in a row and have had the Conference Player of the Year for the three years running. John Fulkerson '16, who now plays at the University of Tennessee, won CPOY in 2016, and Matt Halvorsen '17, who now plays at Western Carolina, won CPOY in 2017.

This season, Jalen Lecque '19 was awarded Conference Player of the Year after averaging 21.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 3.3 steals per game. He was joined on the All-Conference team by Brandon Stone '19 and Justice Ajogbor '20. This is the second year in a row Justice has been named for the team. Brandon averaged 15.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, and nearly two blocks per contest, and Justice averaged 10.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, and nearly three blocks per contest. Their performances this season helped Christ School earn the #3 seed in NCISAA playoffs and first round bye.
