Varsity Baseball Earns #5 Seed

After finishing 20-2 in the regular season, Varsity Baseball earned the #5 seed in the 3A NCISAA State Playoffs.

"This is what we have been preparing or all season," said Head Coach Cody Geyer. "We wanted to continue to get better as the year went along and give ourselves an opportunity to make a run."

The Greenies will have that chance, as they will host a playoff match-up against Covenant Day School on Tuesday at home at 4:00 PM. The winner of that game will head to Charlotte Country Day on Saturday for the Quarterfinals. The Greenies fell in last year's Quarterfinals to Providence Day School.

On Friday, the Greenies baseball team recognized their seniors for the dedication to the program. With that, six Greenies seniors will have their last game home game on campus Tuesday. McKinley Bell (App State), Gabe Blevins (University of Tennessee), Will Goosman (Auburn University), Jeffrey Hester (UNC-Charlotte), Jackson Hipp (Brown University) and TJ Searle (UNC-Chapel Hill).

Come out and support. Adults are $7 and students are $5.
