The Greenies opened their season with a convincing 15-3 win over Greenville High (SC). On the offensive side of the ball, Jack Harrison '19 led the way with 4 goals and 3 assists, while Davis Lindsey '20 added 3 goals and 3 assists and Zack Grinde '19 added 2 goals, 2 assists, and 7 groundballs.
Jack Fitch also played well, adding 2 goals. Sam Bassett '22, Parker Byrd 21, Coles Manning '19 and Hutson Ford '19 all added a goal each. Defensively, Christ School played extremely well holding Greenville to just 11 total shots. Will McNichols '19, Spencer Dyer '19, Kevin Masson '20, Hagan Brooks '19, Grant Majewski '20, Marcus Berger '19, Andrew King '19, and Ross Oakley '19 all worked well together to shut down the Greenville offense. Beau Hecimovich '20 made 6 saves and Sam Brie '21 made 2 saves. Sean Dow '21 was dominant from the face-off X, going 16/19.
The Greenies will play next against Porter Gaud, Oceanside Academy, Wando High School, and Bishop England this weekend in Charleston.
