Varsity Swims Caps Fantastic Season at State

A fantastic swimming season has come to a close for the Greenies, after competing at the NCISAA Division 1 Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Monday. The Greenies placed 11th out of 14 teams, but continued to set personal records throughout the day. "I am so proud of these boys," said Head Coach Kevin Lisska. "This season, they have put the work in each and every day. They work so hard and to see them come through at the biggest meet of the year, is special."

The Greenies are young, with the majority of the roster being just Freshman and Sophomores, but the program will say goodbye to both TJ Bell and Henry Duggins who were both integral members of the team during their time on the squad.

More than a handful of Christ School swimmers qualified for the finals, including Frank Howden who placed 5th in the 200IM and 100M Breast stroke. There were other personal records from Colin Brazas, Bo Cowden-Garofalo, Charlie Thomas, and Sam Jarrett.

"After such a successful season, we can't wait to see what happens next year," added Assistant Coach Dr. Brent Harris
