21 AP Scholars Honored in Assembly


Academic Rigor at its finest. 

Christ School offers more Advanced Placement courses than ever before (27) across a wide spectrum of academic disciplines. The possibility exists for the highest-achieving boys to earn college credit before graduation, all in accordance with the first school pillar of Academic Rigor.  

Dean of Academics Emily Pulsifer P’15, P’17 and Associate Dean of Academics James Uhler presented certificates Monday to 21 AP Scholars from the Class of 2025 and 2026, with the criteria determined by the College Board. 

AP SCHOLARS (Students who score 3 or more on at least three AP exams)

Jackson Cancel ’26, Henry Chapman ’25, Joe Gilliam ’25, Collier Lilly ’25, Jonathan Reece ’25, Xander Ring ’25, Brendan Selmensberger ’25, Zach Wetzel ’25, and Yixuan Wu ’25. 

AP SCHOLARS WITH HONOR (Students who average a minimum of 3.25 on all AP exams taken and score 3 or more on at least four of those exams)

Truett Compton ’25, William Hughes ’25, Nolan Miller ’25, and Jack West ’25. 

AP SCHOLARS WITH DISTINCTION (Students who average a minimum of 3.5 on all their AP exams and score 3 or more on at least five of them)

John Barton ’25, Jacob Beatty ’25, Jake Brown ’25, Luka Rose ’25, Spencer Thompson ’26, Jad Traboulsi ’25, Spencer Vande Weghe ’25, and Henry Wilhelm ’25. 

The Class of 2024 earned $4.2 million in scholarships over a four-year period and has enrolled at colleges and universities in 17 states, plus Washington D.C. and Canada. The following AP Scholars came from Christ School’s most recent graduating class.
