Asheville School Week Part 2!

As announced in his morning’s assembly, here are the theme days and notable events planned for the final week before Thanksgiving Break. It all culminates with next Friday’s 98th playing of “The Game” between the Greenies and Asheville School, here at 7 p.m. 

MONDAY

Green Day.

TUESDAY

Jersey Day.

WEDNESDAY

Look-A-Like Day and Thanksgiving lunch. 

THURSDAY

Back to the Future Day (60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s) and Pregame Bonfire.

FRIDAY

The Game, 7 p.m. kickoff.

Greenie Parents are bringing two food trucks to campus for next Friday's pregame tailgate – Milltown Brick Oven Pizza and Garage Barbecue – and there will be live bluegrass music from Zoe & Cloyd, courtesy of the Cooper Living Arts Series. Coach Mike Knighton P’87 is being inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at halftime, which will also include a Dorm Wars field goal contest. 

The Christ School-Asheville School game was originally scheduled for Sept. 28 until Hurricane Helene had other ideas. It is the oldest high school football rivalry in the Carolinas, dating back to 1911. Both schools were founded in 1900.
