Baseball Rolls for Second Straight Game


Back-to-back wins have momentum on the right side as Christ School varsity baseball prepares to reenter NCISAA play. 

Will Ray ’27 perfectly set the tone Thursday with a leadoff double and the Greenies went on to hammer visiting Hayesville, 13-1. 

Will, Henry Tutera ’28, and Will Walker ‘25 had two hits apiece, with two RBIs each from Henry, Will Walker, and Corbin Spilliards ’27. Patrick Robichaud ’27 pitched 3.2 innings of shutout ball, allowing two hits and no walks, while striking out a pair of Yellow Jackets. 

Christ School improves to 3-8 overall and travels to Charlotte Latin for a 1:30 p.m. game on Saturday. The JV teams play at 11 a.m.

JV Greenies 20, Asheville School 0

The JV Greenies took advantage of 20 walks to score equally as many runs Thursday at Asheville School. 

Lou Boatwright '27, Grant Prince ’28, and Zach Byrd ’28 matched one another with three RBIs for Christ School (3-0-1). Starting pitcher Abram Graning ’28 gave up only one hit and struck out four in 3.0 innings.
