Cameron Adkins '27 Wins Silver at CARIFTA Games


TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO – Flying away to the Caribbean over Easter Break was a business trip for Cameron Adkins ’27, and business was good Saturday.

Cameron won Bermuda’s first medal of any kind at the CARIFTA Games track meet, taking second place in the boys 17 and under 1,500-meter run (4:12.86).

Cameron is the second Greenie in the past three years to represent Bermuda in the CARIFTA Games – Kahzi Sealey ’23 won silver in the 1,500 over Easter Break in 2023.  

The CARIFTA Games is an annual athletics competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA). The games have been held every year since 1972 and consist of track and field events including sprint races, hurdles, middle distance track events, jumping and throwing events, and relays.
