For the third time in two weeks, a Christ School junior has committed to play college lacrosse.
Congratulations to faceoff specialist Carter Sherwood ’25 on his commitment to Loyola University Maryland, which he announced Tuesday night on his Instagram.
Carter is from Arden and won 72 percent of his faceoffs last spring to earn NCISAA all-state and all-conference honors. His club team is Team 91 out of Charlotte.
Christ School's leader in career points (337) is Davis Lindsey '20, who will be a senior attacker for Loyola next spring.
There are now five players from this year’s Greenie lacrosse team who have committed to play college lacrosse – Carter, Parker Beiland ’24 (Queens University of Charlotte), Lucas Little ’24 (York College of Pennsylvania), Xander Ring ’25 (Brown University), and Hunter Sanford ’25 (Rutgers University).
