Christ School Receives Highest Possible AP Designation

Top of the class!

The North Carolina Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll Recognition for 2024 has been announced with Christ School earning the highest possible distinction – Platinum with Access.

Only 10 percent of schools in North Carolina qualified for Platinum with Access status and the number dips to 7 percent among all schools in the United States and Canada.

Christ School stands alone as the only Platinum with Access school in the Asheville area this year, a testament to the students' and faculty's unified belief in our first school pillar of Academic Rigor.

We define Academic Rigor as, "a curriculum that engages, stimulates, and challenges each student to discover his own academic gifts and to develop their academic potential to its maximum. Our engaged faculty leads, mentors, and guides our students through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum."

The curriculum here offers boys 27 AP courses and 31 Honors courses.
