Dawson Thompson '25, Jordan Edgecomb '25 Make College Football Commitments

Christ School’s seniors walked off the field as winners in their final high school game on November 22.

The good news has kept coming.

There are now three Greenies who have committed to colleges since that epic 26-25 overtime win over Asheville School the week before Thanksgiving.

Dawson Thompson ’25 (Columbia University) and Jordan Edgecomb ’25 (Bentley University) announced their choices Monday, giving the team four total recruits – Finley Sullivan ’25 (VMI) and Sam Browder ’25 (Memphis University) previously signed.

There are now 18 total seniors from Christ School’s Class of 2025 who have committed or signed to play college sports. The Athletic Department will hold a Commitment Ceremony on Friday, following assembly.
Jordan is an all-state and all-conference linebacker from Atlanta who led the Greenies (4-5) with 6.6 tackles per game.

Dawson made the Western Football Conference team as a lineman. His presence was felt on both sides of the ball and even special teams – Dawson blocked an extra point in “The Game.” He is from the Bahamas.
