Christ School knows boys better than anyone.
But you don’t get here after 123 years by being complacent. That is why it was so important for the faculty and staff, parents, as well as the boys to have sessions for learning and discussion with Dr. Michael Reichert on Monday.
Dr. Reichert is based out of Pennsylvania and an applied and research psychologist who specializes in working with boys, men, and their families. He has maintained a clinical practice for close to three decades and published numerous articles and several books, including “Reaching Boys, Teaching Boys: Lessons About What Works—and Why and I Can Learn From You: Boys as Relational Learners.” His new book for parents is “How to Raise a Boy: The Power of Connection to Build Good Men.”
Dr. Reichert is the founding director at the Center for the Study of Boys and Girls Lives at the University of Pennsylvania.
Monday was the final day of Thanksgiving Break for Christ School as classes resume Tuesday.
