Early College Snapshot of the Class of 2025


Thank you to College Guidance for this early snapshot of the Class of 2025, with more good news expected in the next two weeks from N.C. State University and UNC-Chapel Hill:

  • Ninety-eight percent of the seniors have applied to 154 colleges/universities.
  • Students submitted exactly 400 applications (approximately six applications per student). 

Early Decision Results:  Twenty-five percent of the Class of 2025 applied through a binding early decision agreement with schools. The majority received good news, including acceptance letters from Brown University, Columbia University (2), Davidson College, Duke University (2), University of Pennsylvania, Sewanee: University of the South (2), University of Virginia (2) and Wofford College. Another student has received a letter of assurance from the United States Military Academy (West Point).

Additional Acceptances: Appalachian State University, Auburn University, Bates College, Baylor University, Belmont University, Bentley College, Clemson University, Eckerd College, Elon University, Hampden-Sydney College, Howard University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Liberty University, Louisiana State University, Loyola University of Maryland,, Mississippi State University, Montreat College, Newberry College, Queens University, University of Memphis, UNC Charlotte, University of South Carolina, University of South Florida, and Virginia Military Institute.
