Credit the rest to him.

The Christ School alumnus has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year, following a season in which he had 27 points (18 goals, nine assists) for Dartmouth College. The award is no real surprise as Emmett was the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on three occasions this spring.

He was the only NCAA Division I freshman to score 10 points in a game (seven goals and three assists in a 20-16 win over Hobart on March 7). Emmett had at least one point in every Ivy League game for the Big Green (6-6) as a starter in the midfield.

Dartmouth’s final game of the season was Saturday’s 13-11 loss to Brown which led to Emmett’s third weekly Ivy League award. He had one goal, one assist, a groundball, and two caused turnovers.

Emmett’s parents, Greg and Fran, both played lacrosse in college and Greg is currently the head coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University. His younger brother, Caden ’25, is one of the most promising underclassmen on Christ School’s roster and an older sister, Mason, plays defender for UNC-Chapel Hill.
