Engineering, World Languages Students Take Local Field Trips

Enrichment this close to home is too good to pass up.

The boys have taken a pair of field trips within the Asheville city limits this week.

Engineering students had a real hands-on experience Wednesday at UNC Asheville, which offers a program of study in conjunction with N.C. State University. The boys also ate lunch at local favorite Little Pigs BBQ.

And on Monday, World Languages Chair Jameel Brenneman and three Greenies from his Arabic II and Arabic III classes (Nolan Johnson ‘27, Tristan Richard ‘27, and Elliott Stay ‘27) presented a story they co-wrote at the N.C. Association of Independent Schools conference, hosted by Asheville School.
