George Robbins ’24 has been selected to the new Asheville Football Club semi-professional team for the 2024 spring season, the organization announced Monday.
The defender/midfielder from Asheville was a captain for the Greenies (10-11-1) his senior year. He had two goals and an assist. George’s play and leadership were instrumental to Christ School reaching the NCISAA 4-A state quarterfinals after a fourth-place finish in the Carolinas Athletic Association.
Asheville F.C. was founded in 2023 and plays in the Premier 1 division of the United Premier Soccer League.
