SUNSET, S.C. – With eight holes on the water and fairways hugged by trees, The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards made golfers scrutinize more shots than usual Wednesday.

N.C. Central University recruit Jamal Hutchison ’23 raised his game to go low on a difficult course.

Jamal shot even-par 71, six strokes better than any other player, in Christ School’s match with Asheville Christian Academy and Christ Church Episcopal (S.C.). The Greenies (314) were the first-place team as well, with Elijah Abundis ’24 tying for second place individually (77).

Christ School’s next match is April 19 at Biltmore Forest Country Club against ACA, Charlotte Country Day, and Charlotte Latin.
