Sunday's formal holiday dinner in Stolz Dining Hall put a bow on Christmas celebrations at Christ School.
Looking back, the sanctity of the 91st Lessons and Carols candlelight service was balanced with a rowdy, but good-natured Christmas in the Greenie Dome basketball game. The newly-reinvigorated Theater Department made Pingree Auditorium come alive with its ensemble production, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever."
In between there has been hot cocoa and cookies enjoyed at Boxwood House, dorm decorations, and holiday surprises around every corner from our Greenie Parents.
Now, we fully expect to see the academic commitment from the boys these past five months reflected by their scores on Fall Term exams. And we hope that everyone in the school community heeds the words from our final chapel talk of 2024, given by Dr. Jenkins.
“Each of our journeys is different, and yet remarkable in their own right," he said.
"This Christmas season, take a moment to think about your journey. The path you see ahead and how you can better the lives of others along the way.”
Good luck on your exams and Merry Christmas, Greenies!
