The Christ School Athletic Department is pleased to announce Gorham Bradley as the new Program Director and Head Coach for the golf program.
Mr. Bradley is a 2004 graduate of Western Carolina University and has coaching and administrative experience at the college level.
He went directly from player to coach of his alma mater from 2004 to 2010. Under his leadership, WCU won four team tournament championships and produced 12 individual winners, including a pair of Southern Conference Tournament champions, a SoCon Player of the Year, and eight All-SoCon performers. The Catamounts received their first-ever at large bid to an NCAA team regional in 2008.
Gorham stepped down from coaching to become WCU’s Associate Athletic Director from 2010 to 2017.
Gorham is a Spring Hope, N.C., native and married to Rebecca. The couple has three children: Hank, Ava Leigh, and Reece.
Christ School’s golf program is the premier high school program in the Asheville area with three state-championship teams, five state runner-up teams, and three state-champion individuals (Sean Edey '05, Jeff Krieger '12, and Jonathan Rector '15). The Greenies have won 16 consecutive conference tournaments in the Carolinas Athletic Association.
