Seniors from the Class of 2022 are only five days away from becoming alumni of Christ School.
But first, Jackson Burch ’22, Jacob Halfacre ’22, Sam White ’22, and Trey Wagner ’22 had a big item to mark off their graduation week checklist.
The four Greenies signed with their respective college programs Tuesday morning in an outdoor ceremony attended by family and friends.
Jackson will run distance at the next level for UNC-Charlotte cross country and track, Jacob (Butler University) and Trey (University of South Florida) are both football recruits, and Sam has signed with Rhodes College baseball.
Commencement for Christ School’s Class of 2022 is Sunday.
As Athletic Director Eric Thorp ‘01 pointed out Tuesday, roughly 26 percent of the 61 seniors will be college athletes starting in the fall.
