Christ School varsity football overcame a lot this season. The Greenies had just as much going for them when they were 100 percent healthy, as evidenced by all-conference selections for the CISAA (Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic Association), voted on by league coaches.

Christ School went 6-6 this fall, despite being hampered late by a multitude of injuries and sick players. The team staged second-half comebacks to beat NCISAA Division II state champion Asheville School for a record 11th consecutive year (18-9 on Oct. 29) and upset No. 4 seed Charlotte Latin in the quarterfinals of the NCISAA Division I playoffs (36-35 on Nov. 4).
Quinton (Davidson College), Tray (Lafayette College), and Zack (N.C. State) have committed to play college football and are three of 11 seniors that the Greenies will lose to graduation.
