Monday was a good litmus test as to whether Christ School golf can win another Carolinas Athletic Association championship.
The results speak for themselves.
In the largest CAA tournament of the year so far, the Greenies (154) were 24 strokes better than second-place Carolina Day (178). The nine-hole match was played at Sky Valley (Ga.) Country Club, the home course for Rabun Gap, and also included Asheville Christian Academy.
Christ School was led individually by Charles Howden ’22 (37), Jamal Hutchison ‘23 (38), Taylor Kuehn ’23 (39), Wells Edwards ‘25 (40), Elijah Abundis ‘24 (44), and David Gaines ‘26 (52).
The Greenies are undefeated so far this season and their next match is March 30 with Charlotte Providence Day at Cedarwood Country Club.
