Greenie Track Tops Final State Rankings

Scheduling conflicts and other logistics would make it hard, if not impossible to get every boys track team in North Carolina together at the same place at the same time.

But in this hypothetical, Christ School would be the winner of a statewide “super meet” between all private and public schools, according to the staff at HighSchoolOT.com.

The Greenies occupy the No. 1 spot in the website’s final North Carolina boys team rankings for the spring outdoor season, coming in ahead of N.C. High School Athletic Association 4-A state champion Waxhaw Cuthbertson (No. 2), and well beyond the team they were second to in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association Division I state meet – Charlotte Providence Day (No. 14).

How can such a leap be possible? Simple.

HighSchoolOT.com pooled all finals performances from the private school state meets as well as the public school state meets. Christ School's amount of elite-level athleticism, particularly in distance events, was undeniable.
