Greenies Begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday

Bless these branches and bless these boys.

Students and the faculty were given their own individual palm branch for Christ School's observance of Palm Sunday, highlighted by an all-school service in St. Joseph's Chapel and a family-style advisory dinner in Stolz Hall.

The TV outside Stolz drew a crowd as the boys watched golfer Rory McIlroy win his first Masters championship in a sudden-death playoff.

Palm Sunday represents the start to Holy Week in the Christian faith, signifying the moment when Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem. There, the people greeted and honored him by waving palm branches. Every year, Palm Sunday falls on the final Sunday before Easter.
