You would expect Christ School to be well-represented on the All-Carolinas Athletic Association basketball team, and you would not be disappointed!
Senior forward/center Mikey Wilkins ’25 received the most votes of any CAA Player of the Year candidate. The N.C. State recruit leads the Greenies (23-2) in scoring (14.8 ppg.), rebounding (7.7 rpg.), and blocks (1.0 bpg.), and ranks second in field-goal percentage (57 %) and steals (2.0 spg.).
Three other members of the team were selected all-conference as well – senior point guard Madden Collins ’25 (14.2 ppg., 4.3 apg., and 2.6 spg.), junior guard Tyler Jones ’26 (8.1 ppg., 3.5 apg., 1.9 spg., and 1.8 rpg.), and junior guard Dacen Petty ’26 (11.8 ppg., 4.5 rpg., 3.0 apg., and 1.9 spg.).
Christ School won its eight CAA games this season by an average of 27.0 points, even with head coach Josh Coley substituting heavily or even resting his starters entirely in some conference games. The Greenies are home for Friday’s second round of the NCISAA 4-A state playoffs and will host Cannon School (15-11) at 6 p.m.
