Madden Collins ’25 saw a lot of familiar faces over the course of two days in Columbia, S.C., where he has grown up.
The American University recruit and senior point guard pleased his family and friends immensely with 41 points in two Greenie wins.
Christ School returns home Wednesday for its first home game in nearly a month – Christmas in the Greenie Dome vs. Gaston Day tips off at 6:30 p.m. – and the Greenies (8-0) will be undefeated.
The team led Wilson (S.C.), 28-13, at the end of the first quarter Saturday and breezed to a 74-56 win in the Stars and Stripes Showcase, played at Keenan (S.C.). Scorers were Madden (21 points), Tyler Jones ’26 (17), Dacen Petty ’26 (11), Mikey Wilkins ’25 (11), Mason Collins ’28 (10), and William Robinson ’26 (4).
Christ School is 17th in the most recent national rankings from MaxPreps and had an easier time with Friday's 74-43 blowout at Cardinal Newman (S.C.). Madden led the Greenies with 20 points.
