INDIAN TRAIL – Christ School track traveled light to Monday’s first meet of the outdoor season with only a handful of distance runners.
Very fast distance runners.
The relay team of Cameron Adkins ‘27, Brooks Barbee ‘27, Noah Clancy ‘26 and Dallas Reeves ‘27 set a school record in the 4x1,600 meters (18:00.35), coming in second place to Marvin Ridge (17:48.84) in a race rarely run in North Carolina track. The usual relays are the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800.
Monday’s meet was hosted by Metrolina Christian Academy and the splits for the Greenies were: 4:25.10, 4:40.00, 4:30.20, and 4:24.80.
