History Continues With 98th Playing of The Game

History continues Friday when Christ School and Asheville School play "The Game" for the 98th time here at Fayssoux Field.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The best way to watch is in person, cheering loudly for the Greenies. Everyone is invited to gather in Alumni Plaza and support the football team for a walkthrough at 5 p.m. There will be food trucks and live music from 5 to 7 p.m.

If you cannot join us, the game will be live-streamed at this link. Be sure to stay tuned at halftime for the induction of Coach Mike Knighton P'87 into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

Christ School-Asheville School is the oldest high school football rivalry in the Carolinas, dating back to 1911. The winner has taken possession of the Fayssoux-Arbogast Trophy every year since 1971, with the Greenies winning the last 12 years.
