Christ School rising senior Justice Ajogbor '20 had put himself on the national radar long before this summer. An invitation to the first-ever NCAA College Basketball Academy was a good confirmation of that.
With plenty of college coaches looking on, the 6-foot-9 Greenie made the most of the added exposure July 25-28 at the University of Connecticut, including a 26-point performance in his final game.
Justice, who can play center and forward, holds scholarship offers from every major college conference in the country. He is also being recruited by Ivy League programs.
As a junior, Justice helped propel the Greenies (16-14) to a runner-up finish in the NCISAA 4-A state tournament and a Carolinas Athletic Association championship. He was named to the Asheville Citizen-Times’ All-Western North Carolina team.
The NCAA College Basketball Academy is a new developmental boys basketball academy for prospective student-athletes in the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022. With input from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the academy is designed to give high school players a sample of the college basketball experience.
