A classic look made better by another W.
JV Baseball dusted off some decades-old uniforms that the Athletic Department still has in storage Saturday. The exact age of the uniforms is not known, but they are believed to date back to the 1980s or 1990s when a scripted ‘C’ was the predominant logo worn by Christ School sports teams.

Whatever the case, the Greenies (8-1) looked as good as they played Saturday.
Three different pitchers – Corbin Spilliards ‘27 (3.0 innings pitched), Hayes Gasperson ‘27 (1.0 IP), and Lou Boatwright ‘27 (1.0 IP) – combined to throw a three-hit shutout and Christ School scored in every inning of an 18-0 home win over the Greenville (S.C.) Hurricanes. Corbin got the win, allowing a lone hit to go along with one walk and three strikeouts.
At the plate, Henry Tutera ‘28, Patrick Robichaud ‘27, and Neo Smith ‘27 led the attack with two hits apiece. Henry doubled, scored four runs, and stole four bases. Neo drove in a team-high four runs. Sawyer King ‘27 had a double and two RBIs.
The next scheduled game for the JV Greenies is Monday at Providence Academy (Tenn.).
