Kaedin Robinson '19 Starring for Appalachian State Football

Kaedin Robinson ’19 was only a Greenie football player for one year.

That’s all it took. And he is now having the same kind of impact at Appalachian State that he did for Christ School.

Kaedin made eight catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns (10 and 27 yards) in Saturday’s 55-27 home win over Georgia Southern that moved the Mountaineers onto next weekend’s Sun Belt Conference championship game.

Kaedin’s 10 touchdowns on the year are the most by any Sun Belt receiver and tie the most by an Appalachian State player since Corey Sutton in 2018.

The Mountaineers will play at Troy for the conference championship Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPN.

Kaedin came to Christ School in the fall of 2017 after a knee injury derailed him at A.C. Reynolds. He was spectacular to say the least in 2018, his lone season. Kaedin had 1,827 total yards and 25 touchdowns with school single-season records for receptions (94), receiving yardage (1,686), and receiving touchdowns (23) that may never be broken.
