Lacrosse Completes Road Swing With Win in Virginia

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – When a goalkeeper plays like Noah Wood ’25 did Thursday afternoon, you make your own homefield advantage.

Christ School lacrosse has been on the road or at neutral sites for the first six games of the season. The slog called for an effort like the Greenies got Thursday from their keeper. Noah made 11 saves and the team added another quality win at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.), 9-4.

Scoring-wise, Christ School (4-2) got a hat trick from Palo Miles ‘27 (three goals), with other big contributions from Caden Paradine ‘25 (two goals, three assists, and nine ground balls), Thomas Flores ‘27 (two goals, one assist, and one ground ball), Liam Burnett ‘28 (one goal, one assist, and three ground balls), Parker Abernethy ‘28 (one goal, one assist, and one ground ball), and Wes McAven '27 (seven faceoffs won, six ground balls).

Noah is a senior from Arden who has signed to play college lacrosse for Bates (Maine).
