NORCROSS, Ga. - After four hours on a bus, all it took was six seconds for Christ School varsity lacrosse.

What has to be one of the fastest goals in the program's illustrious history kickstarted Saturday's 17-8 road win on a sunny afternoon at Greater Atlanta Christian.

Aiden Schook ’23 (five goals, two assists) and Nate Wilberding ‘25 (four goals, two assists) combined for more than half the Greenies' offense as they gave new coach Patrick Haley his first win. Faceoff specialist Carter Sherwood ’25 (three assists) had to leave the game early with an injury, but not before making a sizable impact. It was Carter who won the opening faceoff and made a beeline for GAC’s goal, setting up the quick first score.

Christ School (1-1) led 7-1 at the end of the first quarter, 12-4 at halftime, and never let the Spartans (2-2) back in it despite playing without Carter for the third and fourth quarters.

Christian Hudson ’23 (two goals, two assists) and Caden Paradine ‘25 (two goals, one assist) each scored twice, as did Jack Staley ‘23, representing his first two goals as a Greenie. Jack Shimer ‘23 (one goal, one assist), Hardy Johnson ‘24 (one goal), and Nolan Miller ‘25 (one assist) rounded out Christ School’s scoring leaders.

The Greenies return to Georgia for Monday night's 7 p.m. game at Roswell’s Centennial High School (3-1).
