
Christ School announces that it has begun a national search for its next Football Program Director and Head Varsity Coach.
Pace University (N.Y.) introduced Chad Walker as its new head coach yesterday. Christ School wishes Coach Walker, Victoria, and Elle the very best and are grateful for their contributions to our community over the past four years.
The Greenies have advanced to the semifinals of the NCISAA Division I state playoffs the last three seasons and won the Division II championship in 2020. Their winning streak over Asheville School in the Carolinas' oldest rivalry now stands at 13 years. A total of 35 players have continued their careers at the college level since 2021.
The current senior class includes four college recruits so far – linemen Sam Browder ’25 (Memphis), Finley Sullivan ’25 (VMI), and Dawson Thompson ’25 (Columbia), and linebacker Jordan Edgecomb ’25 (Bentley). Former linebacker Cayden Jones ’24 (Alabama) was the first football All-American in school history.
