Wyatt Haddock ’27 slid into the corner on his knees Friday, with the elation of an early goal clear by the sophomore's celebration. The aftermath was much more subdued when Wyatt struck again less than a minute later.
Christ School varsity soccer had all the scoring it needed before its most dominant win yet had even really started. The Greenies went on to beat visiting Charlotte Christian, 3-0, for their third straight shutout.
Wyatt’s goals came in the first two minutes and Alec Dzialo ’27 (one) put home a third for good measure with 2:34 to go in regulation for the Greenies (4-1-0). Wells Edwards ’25, Taz Kasambara ’26, and Wyatt Campbell ’27 gave out assists and Felix Huebner ’26 stepped up when needed with two saves.
Christ School begins Carolinas Athletic Association play next Friday at undefeated Asheville Christian Academy (6-0-0).
