Thomas Vickery '27 Shoots Greenies Past Rabun Gap

RABUN GAP, Ga. - Thomas Vickery ’27 found his way into the starting lineup Thursday and was dialed in from the very beginning.

The sophomore sank the first two of his six 3-pointers to make the score 6-0, and the outcome was never in doubt from there.

With a big weekend looming, Coach Josh Coley substituted freely throughout a 56-39 victory at Rabun Gap that clinches the Carolinas Athletic Association championship. Every win for Christ School (20-1, 7-0) in the CAA has come by double digits.

In addition to 18 points from Thomas, the rest of the scorers were Mikey Wilkins ‘25 (12 points), Mason Collins ’28 (10), Madden Collins ‘25 (eight), Dacen Petty ’26 (four), Tyler Jones ’26 (two), William Robinson 26 (one), and Jo Ahart ’25 (one).

The Greenies will be in the Washington, D.C. area for their next two games – Saturday at Friendship Tech Prep Academy (2 p.m.) and Sunday at Paul VI (3 p.m.).
