Three Greenies Make All-State Football Team

Still flying high after Friday, Christ School football has placed three players on this year's NCISAA Division I all-state team.

Those selections are Spencer Thompson '26 (specialist), Jordan Edgecomb '25 (linebacker), and Sam Browder '25 (offensive lineman).

The Greenies (4-5) took on one of the toughest schedules in the state again this fall, reaching the semifinals of the NCISAA playoffs for the 12th time in 13 years. Spencer's extra point in overtime was ultimately the difference in Friday's 26-25 home win over Asheville School, extending Christ School's winning streak in the Carolinas' oldest rivalry to a record 13 years.
