As the year unfolds, Christ School’s Class of 2022 will carve out its own unique identity.
Helping facilitate the process are 12 seniors who were inducted into the National Honor Society on Tuesday.
In alphabetical order, the inductees were Eli Brasher ‘22, Jackson Burch ‘22, Sam Chandler ‘22, Parker Davis ‘22, Jacob Halfacre ‘22, A.J. Hesselson ‘22, Brady Ioannidis ‘22, Nate Kelley ‘22, Durant Long ‘22, Tobenna Okoli ‘22, A.J. Simpkins ‘22, and Samuel White ‘22.
High schools across the country have their own chapters of the National Honor Society with four basic requirements for students in grades 10 through 12 – scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Christ School’s standards are a 3.75 grade-point average for at least three consecutive semesters (well above the suggested national criteria of 3.0), no disciplinary issues, and meeting all service-learning obligations (every Greenie must perform a minimum of 15 hours per year).
